We want anyone to be able to use this site, with or without a mouse, by sight or with a screen reader. The reference we follow is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What gets checked
- Contrast is measured, not estimated. That includes the text over the home-page video, which is checked frame by frame with a tool built for it.
- Everything can be reached with the keyboard, and the focus ring shows where you are.
- Images carry alternative text, and decorative ones are hidden from the screen reader instead of describing an ornament.
- Every page declares its language, and the English page is entirely in English: the two are never mixed, which is what throws a screen reader off.
- If your system asks for reduced motion, the animations do not run.
- Text can be enlarged to twice its size without losing content or having to scroll the page sideways.
What we know is missing
- The PDF brochures belong to the manufacturers and are not under our control: some of them are not accessible. If you need the content of one in another format, ask and we will get it to you.
- The product videos also belong to the manufacturers, and most have no captions. We cannot add them, but we can tell you what they show.
- Some specification tables are wide, and on a phone you have to scroll them sideways to see the whole thing.
If you hit a barrier
Write to sales@agenciajehandal.hn or call +504 2617-8899 and tell us which page it was and what happened. We will reply, and if it is within our reach we will fix it.
This statement is our own assessment: the site has not been audited by an independent third party.
