In order to be able to utilize the immense potential of the DELTA for specific applications, intuitive operation is essential. The innovative control panel Commander Delta was designed exactly for this requirement and enables time savings of up to 30% when teaching the machine operation! The modern multi-touch user interface of the 7 display, allows the simple and intuitive operation of the DELTA in Manual mode as well as in Automatic mode for sewing programs.The main screens of both sewing modes can be customized with freely positionable function tiles. By simply adding or removing tiles, the range of functions is adapted to individual requirements. Pictogram-oriented function tiles simultaneously allow simple and convenient setting of all parameters and relevant machine functions on the control panel and facilitate identification of the parameters sought. In addition to a powerful programming tool, the control panel also features a comprehensive user authorization management system for logged-in machine users. The ability to display media files such as PDF work plans or operating instructions, play video sequences tutorials and a maintenance management system are further examples of the advanced nature of the DELTA operating concept.

The Delta e-con is equipped as standard with a device for measuring the material thickness underneath the sewing feet. With this measured value, essential sewing parameters such as thread tension, stitch length, sewing foot stroke, sewing foot pressure and sewing speed can be actively influenced during the sewing process in order to optimally adapt the sewing result to the requirements. The results are impressive: – No stitch length shortening with increasing material thickness during the sewing process – Optimum adjustment of the needle thread tension while simultaneously reducing the sewing speed and increasing the sewing foot stroke when overstitching cross seams – Optimization of sewing foot pressure and sewing speed for each application
