The innovative CNC sewing unit with rotating sewing mechanics sets new standards in terms of seam quality and is particularly suitable for use wherever the focus is on visually perfect decorative seams. The unlimited clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation opens up new design possibilities that are difficult to realize with conventional CNC sewing units. The focus is set on applications in the automotive interior sector and the production of leather goods. The rotary mechanism is compactly installed in the sewing head, so that the 911R starts with a sewing area of 300x200mm and has a small footprint.

Outstanding seam quality

On the 911R, the needle bar, the hook system and the sewing foot rotate around the axis of the needle bar. This ensures that the thread draw-off direction is always the same and that the same conditions for stitch formation prevail in every single stitch. The result is an absolutely uniform stitch pattern regardless of the direction and position of the individual stitches.

The correct position for stitch formation is calculated automatically, but can be adjusted by using technology points in the sewing program, if neccessary.

If the turning mechanism is not required in individual programs, it can be switched off via a program parameter and the 911R behaves like a CNC machine without the characteristics of a turning head system.

This makes the 911R the perfect all-rounder for CNC applications.

Bobbin thread

High bobbin thread capacity by XXL vertical hook Ø 32 mm

The 911-210-10 has a high bobbin thread capacity by XXL vertical hook Ø 32 mm. The bobbin thread consumption is monitored by stitch counting or thread consumption control so that a required bobbin change is identified before start sewing. The hook cover open automatically for easy and fast bobbin change.

High machine utilization due to partial or full overlapping operation when using exchangeable clamp

The exchangeable clamp system allows partial or full overlapping operation, resulting in high machine utilisation and high part output. The exchangeable clamp is particularly suitable for sewing decorative and assembly seams. The stationary clamp convinces with its universal use, as the clamp set can be used flexibly for the entire sewing field size. It is used when decorative seams are to be added to larger sewing pieces or when small pieces are to be attached to larger sewing pieces with assembly seams.

DA SPOT (Sewing Program Optimization Tool)

Perfect seam positioning with DA SPOT

DA SPOT (Sewing Program Optimization Tool) is an additional equipment for all subclasses of the 911-210-10 and 911R-210-10. The system includes an integrated camera and an additional panel PC with software for processing the recorded data.

DA SPOT is able to detect a perforation pattern on the inserted material and compares it with an existing target state in the seam program DXF. The measuring points for the comparison can be freely defined depending on the application. After detection, the system automatically adjusts the existing seam program so that the position of the seams on the material completely matches the position of the seams in the stored program. The individual seam sections are adjusted and all stitches are recalculated so that a uniform stitch pattern is guaranteed despite the adjustment.

This ensures that the seams are perfectly aligned with the perforation pattern and minimizes the effort required for quality control and the number of waste parts.
