The machine class 918 is a highly precise zigzag sewing machine designed for medium to heavy-duty applications such as leather, tents, or sails. With up to 10 mm stitch width, a powerful feed system, and a large hook for longer sewing cycles, it ensures perfect, wrinkle-free seams—even over thick or multi-layered materials. The machine operates quietly and with low vibration, and its fresh oil hook lubrication, optimized needle bar motion, and S3 control panel ensure precise, user-friendly performance.
The 918 is available in three equipment variants:
ECO: mechanical, without pneumatic functions, with knee lever, adjustment wheels, and hand lever
ECO X: adds an electropneumatic thread cutter, operated with the DACclassic drive system
Classic: adds pneumatic presser foot lift and automatic seam locking for maximum operating comfort
U-Versions offer a mechanical switch from single to 4- or 6-stitch zigzag, each switchable to standard zigzag mode.
