High flexibility for many different operations on light to medium materials
THE 938 MACHINE CLASS IS AVAILABLE IN THREE EQUIPMENT VARIANTS ECO The ECO equipment variant does not have any pneumatic equipment. The presser foot is lifted by means of a mechanical knee lever. The stitch length and stitch width are set using a mechanical adjustment wheel. A mechanical hand lever is provided for seam locking. The machine can be operated with external drives or the DACeco+ drive package. ECO X In addition to the functions of the ECO equipment class, the ECO+ has an electro-pneumatic thread trimmer. The machine is operated with the DACclassic drive package. Classic In addition to the functions of the ECO+, the Classic equipment class has pneumatic presser foot lift and automatic seam locking.
U-Versions: The subclasses with the suffix “U” in the class designation have a mechanical switch from single to 4- or 6-stitch zigzag. The switch to 4-fold or 6-fold zigzag must be selected.
For the operation “tacking the jacket breast pocket,” a switching device is available for automatically changing from zigzag stitch to straight stitch when sewing in reverse.
