The optimised workstation offers a first-class solution for straight skirt and trouser waistbands made from stretch materials. Shaped waistbands can also be processed quickly and easily. Topstitching is done both in the seam shadow and on the waistband edge.

Presser foot stroke adjustment

Presser foot stroke adjustment for trouble-free topstitching of the waistbands

When processing thicker materials and pile fabrics (e.g. velvet / cord), the sewing foot stroke adjustment can be set to a value of up to 10. This helps to "float" the presser foot over the material, without putting pressure on the waist band. Warping the waistbands in sewing direction against the pile (line direction) is thus prevented. Only the needle and puller transports the material.
