Product features
Highly flexible and efficient
The sewing unit 1200 is the most flexible of its kind. It offers outstanding and flexible solutions for the rational serging of long and short sewing pieces, whether in casual processing, jeans or classic processing. Long and short seams can be sewn automatically in sequence.
Even e.g. trousers with knee lining are no problem. An optionally available knee lining fusing station processes the sewing pieces absolutely displacement-free, taking into account fullness distribution in the desired places. The prerequisite for use is a cut of the knee lining of the same size.
Your benefits at a glance
NEW - Touch screen with colour graphic display for easy programming and quick access to all parameters

The multi-touch-screen “Commander Pro” with colour graphic display allows easy programming and quick access to all parameters. The intuitive and flexible user-interface design with brand-new user tutorials available as video and as PDF format. User guide is translated into 15 languages.
Newly designed stacker for adjustment to bundle size and trouser length
NEW clamp stacker (1220 420314) with an extended arm for stacking extra long trouser parts: The newly designed clamp stacker with 3 arms can be adjusted for different bundle sizes and trouser lengths. The stacker prevents long trouser parts from lying on the floor. The top mounting of the stacker allows stacking short parts with a length of 50 cm and more.
Clamp stacker (1220 420304): The simple clamp stacker is equipped with two holding arms as storage for trouser parts
Flip stacker (1970 592934): The proven flip stacker is recommended for processing long and short parts with smaller bundle sizes
Selectable sewing heads: Pegasus EX5204 or MX5204
Selectable sewing heads:
Pegasus MX5204-02/233-5 ECO/max. 8,000 stitches/min
Pegasus EX5204-02/233-5 max. 8,000 stitches/min

High productivity through overlapped working method
High productivity due to overlapping working
The sewing units start and stop automatically via light barrier recognition. The material is also guided automatically so that the next sewing piece can be positioned during the sewing process. This ensures full utilisation of the machines.
Short training times due to easy operation
The simple operation enables a short training period even for unskilled operators. The operator achieves a high level of productivity after just a few hours.
NEW - Automatic programe sequence for fabric pieces / material samples

Pneumatic fullness setting
The pneumatically switchable differential bottom feed (1220 590704) enables processing trousers with kneelining. This operation can be switched on or off automatically per program. The desired fullness can be set mechanically on the sewing head and pneumatically called up for each program.
Casual and classic processing

The sewing unit 1200-7 is the most flexible of its kind. It offers outstanding and flexible solutions for the rational serging of long and short sewing pieces, whether in casual processing, jeans or classic processing. Long and short seams can be sewn automatically in sequence. Even trousers with knee lining can be serged without any problem. An optionally available knee lining fusing station processes the sewing pieces absolutely displacement-free and activates the fullness distribution in the desired places. The prerequisite for use is that the knee lining is pre-cut to the same size.
Sewing long and short seams in the sequence
Long and short seams
In addition to serging side and inseams, the unit can also sew short seams such as seat seam, fly seam and trousers/ skirt hem. Different kinds of seams can be sewn in a single automatic sequence.
Swing out device for short parts
The swing-out device (1220, 590314) consists of a pneumatically swivelling stamp, which is intended for the sewing start at the trousers hem and for short sewing pieces to be swivelled into the stacker.
If no swing-out device is selected, the stamp is mounted in the sewing unit for the stacking process.
Kneelining fusing station selectable
The sewing unit can optionally be equipped with a knee lining fusing station (1220 590404). The fullness can be programmed for 5 sections in a seam. The prerequisite for use is a pre-cut knee lining of the same size.
Contour guide with help roller
Contour guide with help roller - adjustable for different material thicknesses
Productivity increased by up to 7%
The high productivity is achieved by the overlapped working method and by up to 7% higher sewing speed compared to the previous sewing unit (depending on the material to be sewn and the sewing head used).
Selectable sewing heads:
Pegasus MX5204-02/233-5 (ECO / max. 8,000 stitches/min.)
Pegasus EX5204-02/233-5 (PREMIUM / max. 8,000 stitches/min.)
